The problem, I see, is that people are always on the defense. People feel that because we are on social they can speak more openly (mean). Would you still say these things in person?

I try to speak my truth BUT I choose my battles – mostly when I feel the other side is actually open to listen. Whether or not they change their mind is irrelevant. The first step is to listen to one another and respect differing opinions.

I try to come from a place of compassion where I can, but it’s not always easy, especially if I can see the person is itching for a fight or… I’m tired. It’s not easy is it?

The other side to that – at what point do we take responsibility for our own ‘reactions’ and what offends us and stop expecting others to change themselves and what they say?! Like the ‘spirit animal’ thing – you’re intention was a good one.

I do agree with you. however i think that we are so far in corners that we refuse to come to the center of the areana . Yes we are powerful in numbers but we are keeping more to common groups and pull people to us.

My place in the world is not conflict. If I had to do that it would be ugly for all involved. We each have our purpose here in earth school and there are people far better equipped for conflict than I. HOWEVER – I would never stand by and watch certain things happen and not step!
