Jessica Payne I’ve just returned from christmas holiday in Cape Town in December/January and had to adapt immediately to save water – quick showers, bottled water for the kettle, wet wipes to clean hands instead of washing with water, etc. It’s made me think twice, now that I’m back in the UK and realising how much water is wasted. I have family in Cape Town and they are telling me how the shops have trucks arriving from Joburg everyday with water and how people are fighting over water in shops, it’s so scary! Shops have to keep the water hidden at the back, so they can limit people and so that they don’t fight. I can’t believe it’s so bad – I’m very glad to see it being broadcast by international news channels, to let everyone know what’s happening and hopefully CPT will be helped through this terrible crisis. Thanks for bringing awareness to Cape Town’s water shortage. ❤️🇿🇦

Hi Angela, that’s a question for Bridgetti. I’m not sure if they are asking for water vendors or donations but I’m sure she can let you know! You can reach Bridgetti at @capetownwatercrisis here on Facebook.
